5. Do Odd Jobs
Look out for opportunities to help people in your community, such as those advertised in social media groups. If you have your own car, it will be particularly easy to provide pickups and deliveries. If you have some specific skills to offer, it may be worth making your own post to advertise these.
6. Pet Sitting and Babysitting
Make sure your professors and the other staff on campus know that you’re available if they ever need someone to watch their kids or pets. Babysitting tends to involve evenings, whereas pet sitting is more likely to be over a weekend, and you may need to stay in the person’s home.
7. Sell Your Textbooks
Research options for reselling your textbooks after you’ve finished your classes. Often, the campus bookstore will give you the lowest rates, whereas you can receive a good amount if you sell to an online retailer or directly to students.
